BioTECH is the NATION’S ONLY CONSERVATION BIOLOGY THEMED AWARD-WINNING PUBLIC MAGNET HIGH SCHOOL.
BioTECH provides students with a challenging and advanced level math and science curriculum focused on Conservation Biology that exposes them to rigorous coursework including Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment, as well as research opportunities with practicing scientists in state-of-the-art laboratories. In classes taken on site at the BioTECH Research Station at Zoo Miami, students study the human impact on biological diversity. Research experiences are offered in collaboration with both Zoo Miami and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. The entire school is thematically tied to STEM, research methodology, and applications in the area of innovative, high-impact environmental science research.
